How a single mom can make a career change?

I'm a single mother of a 3 year old, I'm in debt and have no savings....

I'm trying to figure out how to make a career change while still being able to take care of my daughter. I want to get out of the 8-5 work week so I can have more time with my daughter.....any suggestions??? I'm miserable at my current job.How a single mom can make a career change?
I agree with other post don't quit your day jb until you can aford to.

But, Here's what I did... I started selling Products from Home. Home Interior first and it was a slow start so I stopped. Then I got an idea...what sells fast? SEX. So I started selling adult novelties and gifts through home parties. Oh course you have to me 18 or older to attend , host or sell these items. My typical party is $500 to $1000 a night. so with 40% commission and company paid incentives and freebies to my customers that's $200-$400 a night. Its all in what you put into it. Sell it full time earn more.. part time less. But I have FUN at what I do and work when I want to. I even paid $0 for my kit to start. This is also something you can do in Germany. With 50% commission for overseas consultants.

This isn't a sales gimmick just I believe this is the right fit for me. I wanted to contributed to my family without sacrificing my family time... You need to find the right fit for you and go for it.

We also started renting Hot Tubs for parties private and other wise. I have really enjoyed that too. These to projects seem to compliment each other.

Stay with your job until you have a tangible plan. How about getting child support froml your daughter's father. This is his responsibility. Best of luck.
learn day trading on margin. its not that hard, but you have learn first on simulators before you try using you money. after you paper trade 3-6 mounts and recognise best trades you be free for live.
Hi there - terrible situation to be in. I know... Being a single Mum is tough but sounds like you are committed to your daughter and that is the main thing. Don't worry, there must be something you can do.. Sit down and write down your skills... What are you good at? What are your interests and talents? Are you great at selling? There are heaps of at home business ideas which involve selling stuff like tupperware, etc. I know mums who make great money selling tupperware, homewares etc. ... I import and resell stuff on ebay. Do you have a particular interest in something that maybe you could sell on ebay. Decent money can be made. Do you have anyone that can babysit for free in the evenings? Maybe you could do night filling at a grocery store or something like that. Medical reception jobs also pay well and you can work nights and weekends. The other option is to study for something like a personal trainer, which you can do part time.. Might take a while but if you start looking something will come up. Let friends know you are looking for work too... Can you do family day care at your home. Do you know that it pays up to $1000 a week and you can have your own child at home for free with you. I have friends that do that and get great support from the organisations and enjoy the job. Best of luck.
As parents, we quite often have to do things that make us miserable because it provides for our children. Some communities offer free or very low-cost educational opportunities for single parents. You need to check with your local human services offices for special programs. If your city or town has 311, call them, or check with a community college enrollment office.

Good luck.
This is the time of year when people look to the future. Decide what you have a passion for. Then take little steps everyday to achieve your goals.

I found that working for myself gave the personal growth and eventually income and freedom to be home with my children. Find something that you have a passion, maybe it's selling things on Ebay. I started a business with NuSkin and have really done exceptionally well.

I understand your situation I am a mother of 5 girls under the age of 11 and the youngest is 4 months. How I long to get out of debt and have a decent savings account. I would like to know what skills do you have that you could use at home? I don't know if you want to list it on here, but let me know. I want to help. I was miserable at my job as well because they wouldn't allow me to have a flexible schedule.

Contact me at www.homeinteriors.com/spitchford to get my email address. You might not want to do home interiors, but, I will tell you other things you could do at home that is profitable. Trust me, buying and reading books is a waste of time. It's who you know in this day in time that could help you to make it.
