There is a lot of information there, so you may want to research some of the top companies in your area, then try to work for one of them. Hopefully eventually you will start your own business.
Have you taken a course for it. I know it should not be that difficult but nowadays there are so many people doing the same thing that would be the first thing i think of. And maybe liasing with shops that sell wedding gowns or start advertising in a local free newspaper...
go to a wedding show and talk to some professionals

Plan a party for about 100 people and see how it turns out - weddings are big parties and if you can run one of your own you will get a feel for it-



This is not an easy job - I did event planning for 4 years and it basically means you work weekends and nights ...do you really want that?
