Are there any programs that will pay for my retraining? Education? Career Change? Career Advancement? at 50 ?

I do not think i can join the army? Now that the economy is changing, I need to learn to work in the government in computer security. How can I get a grant of someone to pay for my education, so I can change to this new career. I am already working in the Information Technology field, but need the 2 years of training to shift to the security and forensics side? Are there any programs that help with this? If not what would be the fasted and most profitable way to get the education, and keep paying the bills? Are there any programs that will pay for my retraining? Education? Career Change? Career Advancement? at 50 ?
You can apply for federal financial aid at http://fafsa.ed.gov

The is an application for a Pell grant and state grants as well.

The fastest way to get an education is to enroll full time (15 to 18 credit hours a semester). About the bills, my step mom moved in with her mother to cut costs and commuting expenses down. You might consider simplifying your life a bit to save on bills. Sell everything that is non essential.
