Career change to accounting or personal financial planning. How?

I am thinking about a career change and I am considering accounting. I have a Bachelor of Science in Communications though. How can I get into the field and sit for the CPA exam if I didn't major in business? Are certificate programs worth it or should I go to grad school? What about Personal Financial Planning?Career change to accounting or personal financial planning. How?
I am a CFP Certificant and went through a board certified undergraduate program to meet the education requirement for qualification to sit for the exam. There are several programs nationally to met this requirement. You can investigate further by looking at CFP.com or fpanet.org for information on becoming a financial planner. I am not up to speed on the CPA requirements as I am not one.Career change to accounting or personal financial planning. How?
