How did you know what you wanted to do for a career - and was it the right choice?

I am 22 and work as an mortgage underwriting assistant for a building society. I enjoy my job most of the time but feel undervalued and underpaid at times. I have been here for two years, but feel it is not what i want to do forever. I would like to change career routes but don't want to find i have made a big mistake!

Is it normal at 22 to still not really know what you want to do as a career?

Many thanks,

Hayley :)How did you know what you wanted to do for a career - and was it the right choice?
Hi I'm 20, but I still feel I can add some insight. I have Absolutely no clue what I want to do, but the way I see it is that I have PLENTY of time to figure that out. Most of my older friends still don't know. As for making a mistake, we all make mistakes, and you will never know whats out there until you venture into the unknown. You may run into harsh times, but then again you may strike a fortune. The worst thing I can imagine is being stuck somewhere I don't want to be and wonder what life would be like if I just would have taken that chance.
